How prescription items work
Order the treatment, pay, and a doctor calls you. The prescription is issued on the call and our pharmacy dispenses it.
1. Add it to your bag
Items marked “Prescription item” can be added and paid for like anything else. Add the patient's name, age and sex at checkout — the doctor needs them to write the prescription.
2. A doctor calls
Usually the same working day you pay, a registered medical practitioner from our teleconsultation team calls the number on the order. They ask about the skin problem, what you have used before, allergies and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding, and confirm the item suits you — or suggest a better one.
3. The prescription is issued and the order ships
The doctor issues a digital prescription, which is stored in your PingMeDoc health record and attached to the order. Our licensed pharmacy then dispenses and dispatches. If the doctor decides the item is not right for you, that line is cancelled and refunded in full.
Limits
A maximum of three units of any prescription item per order. Schedule X and Schedule H1 medicines, and oral prescription medicines, are not sold on this store. The doctor's call replaces a prescription upload; if you already have a prescription from another doctor, you may share it on the call.
Not sure what you need?
Book an online skin doctor consult from the Consult page of this store. Whatever is prescribed can be ordered here afterwards.
