If there is a rash with fever, swelling of the face or lips, a wound that will not heal, a mole that has changed, or a skin infection that is spreading by the hour, see a doctor in person or go to an emergency department today.
Questions
Who will I be speaking to?
Dr. Rohini K (MBBS, IFAAM (Aesthetic Medicine), Fellowship in Cosmetic Dermatology), the skin and hair doctor on PingMeDoc™'s teleconsultation panel. Every skin and hair consult booked through Chamak goes to the skin doctor, day or night, with a reply usually within 30 minutes.
What does it cost?
₹299 for a chat consult. Audio or video from ₹499. The price is shown before you pay and covers the written plan and 48 hours of follow-up questions in the same chat.
Will I get a prescription?
Only if the doctor finds one appropriate. When issued, it is a digital prescription sent in the chat and on WhatsApp, valid at any pharmacy.
Where does the consult happen?
Booking, payment and the chat run on www.pingmedoc.com, our teleconsultation site. You are asked for a phone number and a one-time code at payment, and nothing before that. Chamak and PingMeDoc are the same company.
What can an online consult not do?
Examine a lump, cut out a mole, do a biopsy or a patch test. A rash with fever, a swollen face or lips, a wound that will not heal, or a mole that has changed shape or colour needs a doctor in person the same day, not a chat.
